“Don’t Need Help…I’m almost 7″. This week continues to be dedicated to my oldest son, Malcolm, who’s birthday is on Mother’s Day.
I’m using Krisitina’s Colour Inspiration #8 Colours for Malcolm’s scrapbook page. This bedroom from Pier 1 Imports was the Inspiration and I really wanted to make my goal of a scrapbook layout a week, so here we go:
His older sister, who is quite tall for her age, normally sets the breakfast table in the busy morning rush. Not sure what happened but do you see him jumping up on my counter? I guess it beats dragging the chair across the floor, but really. He was sorta’ caught red handed the second time he went back to get something from the upper cupboard. (me with camera this time!) “Do you need help?” “NOPE. Don’t Need Help. I’m almost 7″.
What a guy. He’s my smart cookie and stubbornly independent. His persistance will serve him well some day.
Thanks Kristina Werner for your motivation of weekly Colour Inspirations and fresh ideas!

What a great page! Sounds like my Hailey. She just turned 7 and all of a sudden wants to wear make up and have her own room. She can have her own room- but make up? Don’t think so!
Hey Amy! Love your scrappin’ page…that is one area I do not like to do myself, but I am always excited to see someone else’s. Yours is awesome! Have a good week. ~Donna
You did a great job with the colors from Kristina’s challenge! I love your use of the circles; the circles adds a boyish touch to the page for some reason and I guess that’s a good thing right?! You managed to transform your letters and made them look so expensive. What a find at the dollar store, especially since you were able to alter them so well. I’m thinking you could use the letters for your daughter as well. Great job on the page! (Well, all your work is beautiful!) Jenn
Hi Amy,
What a fabulous layout! I love it.
My son was born near Mother’s Day too!
All the best,
Sam.
Great layout!
