Nice lake, no?
We had a wonderful time at the Cottage on Sunday. No, this is not OUR cottage, but friends of ours who were generous enough to have us up again. Their cottage is in Québec on a little quiet lake, near Perkins (Val des Monts).
Liam, Malcolm, & Emma had a blast. All the kids (my 3 & my neighbours 2 & my friend’s 2) all under 9 years old had to wear a life jacket once outside the cottage. The older ones weren’t that impressed by it, but the lake gets deep quickly, so it was a reasonable rule in place & takes out some worry.
There were boat rides from a neighbouring cottager … on a super FAST speed boat.
Everyone brought a ton of food up & we had a blender with the famous margarita family recipe. 
Great on a hot day with friends!
