Here’s just a quick layout that I put together this morning. I saw the idea for highlighting the clear letter in this month’s Making Memories magazine. Jill Paulson, on page 33, had a HUGE letter painted around the outside to show the bottom picture through.
I’d like to do a few more scrappin’ pages of the cottage, we had such a great time there this month.
Here’s the quick spread that I made this morning.
I used my Cricket to cut out some plastic. I’m actually not sure if you’re SUPPOSE to cut plastic, but it seemed to work alright, nothing blew up.
I used Black Stazon around the outside of the “M” in Malcolm’s name.
I used Brocade Blue Textured CS, a corner pocket punch (s.u. retired), a coke can (the silver), Silver eyelets, glue dots (although you can see them through the clear plastic), & a Basic Black Stampin’ Write Marker.
FYI I have used coke cans with S.U. Punches before, & it tends to work better if the stamp isn’t fussy … ie it stuck a bit with this one, because of the small squares.
The image of the lake was actually 18 pictures stitched together … oh my, I didn’t use a tripod, so it’s a bit rough. Maybe next year I can afford a wide angle lens for the Nikon. :)

Gosh, you just simply amaze me at your talent! Love these pages! You have such discipline! To me, anyone who can do a two page spread deserves some serious kudos. It’s a hard thing to do in my opinion. And you’re ALWAYS doing them. Amazing!!!! Oh, as I was going through your blog, I just realized how computer-knowledgeable you are..(That didn’t make sense, but you know what I mean) LOL. I love how you did the scallops on that last post. How the heck??? It’s so cool. BTW, I know this is sooo late, but I wanted to add you to my blog inspirations. let me know if that’s okay. I can’t believe that I didn’t have you on there already. I feel so lost sometimes….did anyone see my brain? Maybe Brain is with MoJo just hanging out, chillin’… And BTW again, I left you an award on my blog. You’re just so intelligent. I feel like you’re the Time magazine of card making! LOL. Hugs, Jenn
