I don’t have the New Stampin’ Up Catalogue yet, but have already started a new wish list. LOL. That new Curly Label Punch Bundle, well all the new punches, PP, Stamps, In Colours. (oh DH is shuttering somewhere).
I figured I should downsize my old wish list before I start a whole new one so I just, I’m mean, JUST got the (“old”) tag punch last week. (Thanks, SparkleDaisy!) I’ve been meaning to get it for a while, but had finally bumped it up to the top of the wish list.
I was playing around with the punch last night, and I realized (& yes, I’m sure I’m not the only one that has figured this out) that it makes rather cute curly brackets.
Here’s what I did with the tag punch.
Punch the CS upside down, as you do with those great handle punches
Now, with it punched out once, move the punch over to the right of the original punch, just a bit.
Just take off the bitty-bits, if there are any & then you have your bracket.
The Cuttlebug templates (Olivia) work well size wise with the brackets.
And Bob’s Yer Uncle:
PP: Sandy Lion: At the Zoo, Almost Amethyst CS, Only Orange CS, Corner Rounder, Dimensionals, Ribbon, “Olivia” Cuttlebug Die Template, Stampin’ Up Tag Punch, Mini glue dots to hold ribbon in place.
